USER RESEARCH

Studying the users of a product or service through observation, interviews and other research activities.

CONTENT STRATEGY

Planning, creation, delivery and governance of useful, usable content. Overlaps information architecture.

INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE

Organising user journeys, information and data within a product or system in a meaningful and usable way.

INTERACTION DESIGN

Designing the layout and interactive aspects of a product or system focusing on users’ context and mental models.

USABILITY EVALUATION

Optimising and testing the quality of a users’ experience when using a product or system. Also known as user testing.

VISUAL DESIGN

The visual qualities of a product or system to be aesthetically pleasing, on-brand and usable for the target user group.
